The mission of the Bella Donna Foundation is to provide non-medical financial assistance to women diagnosed and receiving active treatment for breast cancer in the Owensboro, Kentucky area (Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center, Green River Health District).

To receive financial assistance from the Bella Donna Foundation, a hospital social worker will initiate the request with the patient and gather copies of household bills to be paid.  Once the request is received, The Bella Donna Foundation will ensure payments are submitted for each statement received. Should the statements total more than $1500.00, any past due bills, or bills to keep mortgage/rent/necessary utilities current, will be paid first.

The Bella Donna Foundation will have a monthly meeting of the board of directors to review grant requests received, grants given, and ensure our mission remains ethical and driven toward assisting women seeking treatment for breast cancer.

All grants are subject to funds available at the time a grant request is received. Please, consider donating to The Bella Donna Foundation so we can continue to help as many women as possible. Thank you!
